Down with Downton

Like most, I have become obsessed, fascinated and completely mesmerized by all things Downton Abbey. And though I can only imagine myself living in that world, quite easily I might add, I have come up with some slightly more accessible touches we can all add to our homes to capture some of the Crawley's elegance.

How fabulous is that door? Wouldn't it make for a powerful headboard?

Or why not bring Tea Time to the dining room table?

We can hardly be expected to serve ourselves? This vintage Butler Bell wall Plaque solves the problem thank goodness.
Of course, we'll also need some fabulous lighting like the one in Downton's Drawing Room

Or perhaps we would prefer candlelight?
